Now It's Time to Lose it Now

I have an exhibit of new work on view in Seattle until June 26 at SEASON.  This piece, Ramona, is from 2014 and I made it after moving to Southern California.  My mom helped me make the fabric dyes from plants (mulberries and cactus).

It is a challenge to make art while caring for a baby.  This is certainly not new information but I'm ever so thankful for the short bursts of time I can find to create work and the audience who spends time with what I've made.  I'm interested to see how my process will change under these time constraints and what will be next on the horizon.
