I found this monarch the other day on one of our walks. She seemed to be near the end of her days. She had a very slow flutter and seemed a bit confused. She was beautiful nonetheless and let me pick her up with a piece of bark and move her to a better area away from the traffic.
allie, is that outer circle one of the spiral friendship bracelet knots? i have those on my mind cause a few of the girls i see for therapy are totally diggin' on those these days! i had to revisit my camp days and refine both my lanyard and dmc bracelet skills!!! ;) love it!!! miss you! ps...will i be seeing you in mexico this upcoming may?
