just got back from aya and ben's wedding out near solvang, ca and it was such a treat. i also got to eat at the home of the split pea soup. more pictures of cali to come.

    yeah, andersen's was pretty good. reminded me of cracker barrel a bit. that area (by solvang) is totally beautiful though!

I found this monarch the other day on one of our walks.  She seemed to be near the end of her days. She had a very slow flutter and seemed a bit confused.  She was beautiful nonetheless and let me pick her up with a piece of bark and move her to a better area away from the traffic.
